Goal:
Gain 6-8 kg of bodyweight by my 23rd birthday, May 31 2012. This will allow me to compete in the 77 kg weight class when I compete in June.
Reasoning:
As a weightlifter, I am putting unreasonable amounts of stress on my body. It is a matter of my own safety that I GET BIGGER. Not only will I be able to lift and stabilize more weight because I will have more muscle, my ligaments and other internal tissues will be thicker and stronger. Therefore, I will be less prone to injury.

Mike Portnoy walked away from Dream Theater in September of 2008. Recently, the remaining band members held an audition to find their new drummer. They invited seven of the top players in the genre to participate in what may have been the most high-profile drumming audition in history. They chose to invite:
I spend a lot of time working with a variety of software while producing music. I'm not often motivated to buy more software and make my life more complicated, but Spectrasonics has put together a product called Trillian which really stands out to me. While there are many large MIDI sample libraries available, Trillian is unique because it is only used as a bass module. What is REALLY interesting, though, is that the majority of sounds in the library are not synthetic (unless you choose a synthetic sound) - all of the samples are real samples from real instruments.
Below is a collection of fascinating quotes from an October 12 2010 talk with Jacques Fresco, the 92-year-old design prodigy who now works with the Venus Project and Zeitgeist Movement. Here is the video of the first video of the five-part discussion.
If you are not familiar with the Venus Project, Fresco recommends that you read his book Designing the Future.
Here we have a pain-minimizing method for getting PyQT running in an integrated development environment (IDE) in Ubuntu Linux. There are many options available - you can use the QDevelop environment, the Eric environment, or a variety of other IDEs. Here, however, we are using Eclipse.
At the end of this guide, you will have QT, Eclipse, Python, Pydev, and all necessary dependencies (including SIP) installed and configured.
1997 album "Blue Hats" by Yellowjackets is worth listening to.
This particular lineup of musicians creates a very unique feel. This sets the stage for innovative compositions. This period of time did not produce as much great jazz as earlier periods (or even today), but don't let this distract you from the beauty of this outstanding work. This is jazz - a small jazz band - but the sound is so, so large that one might feel surrounded by the music.
Counting theory, a field within discrete mathematics, is a vast area of study and extremely useful in solving many kinds of problems. One particular application of counting theory is rhythmic interpretation.
In only a few decades, the work of researchers such as Michael Merzenich have obliterated notions of the brain as stable, rigid, and stagnant. The field of neuroscience has been forced to accept a dynamic, shifting, fluid concept of not only personality and psychology, but of of physiology as well. Neural connections which create the networks necessary for thought, motion, and perception are widely accepted as malleable. This is a result of the subject's "thrown-in-ness" into language.
